Nurse practitioners

  • Lizzie Lishman

    BSc (Hons) Clinical Nursing Practice 

    Lizzie Lishman, RGN, is an advanced nurse practitioner and an independent nurse prescriber.

    After qualifying from Guy’s Hospital in 1990, Lizzie spent a further five years in London working primarily in Accident and Emergency before working abroad in both Tanzania and Mauritius in voluntary roles.

    Since 2001, she worked as a nurse practitioner in a local nurse-led Minor Injuries Unit.

    She is married and has 3 children.

  • Dawn Hunt

    BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing

    I have worked as a charity worker and carer before training at London Southbank University. I completed a rotational programme at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital and worked on the Admissions Ward, then transitioned into Primary Care in 2016.

    I joined the Castle Practice team in 2022.

    My special interest is Diabetes.

  • Karen Phillips

    Triage / Practice nurse

    Karen Phillips, RGN, Practice and triage nurse trained at St Mary’s Hospital, London. Prior to joining the practice in 2014, the majority of her career has been spent working as a practice nurse for the military in Germany and UK. She has also worked in other NHS practices in Southern England.

    Karen has gained qualifications in family planning, asthma and has a keen clinical interest in diabetes.

  • Natasha Webb

    Triage / Practice nurse

    Natasha Webb, BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing. Natasha trained at the University of Southampton where she then worked as a Coronary Care Staff Nurse before moving on to gain experience in district and general practice nursing.

    Natasha works as part of our triage team and has special interests in respiratory care with a Diploma in Asthma.

  • Mira Thebe

    RGN / Practice nurse

    Mira is a qualified RGN.  Mira has worked has worked in hospitals prior to joining our team in 2019.

    She is fluent in both English and Nepalese.

  • Audrey Bannerman

    Audrey returned to nursing which she had previously done when living in South Africa.

    Her roles include:
    Phlebotomy (Blood taking)
    Blood pressure checks
    ECG monitoring
    Well person, new patient and NHS health checks
    Adult vaccinations against influenza and pneumococcal
    Spirometry
    Elder care clinic “WellCome clinic”
    Dementia nurse
    Learning disabilities nurse, working with a doctor
    Summarising medical notes
    Dressings, wound care and leg ulcer care
    Well woman nurse, working with a doctor
    Minor operations, with a doctor
    Joint injections, with a doctor

  • Maggie Parnham

    Having previously worked with the district nursing team for 30 years, Maggie joined us in November 2013.

    Her roles include:
    Phlebotomy (blood testing)
    Blood pressure checks
    ECG monitoring
    Well person, new patient and NHS health checks
    Diabetic health checks
    Spirometry
    Ear syringing
    Dressings, wound care, leg ulcer treatments
    ‘Flu, pneumococcal and B12, Prostap injections

    Suture removal

  • Kerry Lillywhite

    Before joining The Castle Practice in 2016, Kerry served 3 years as a Health Care Assistant in a community team.  During that time, she was involved in the leg ulcer clinic at Andover War Memorial Hospital. She is training to become a qualified practice Nurse.

  • Jane Egglestone

    Jane worked in Minor Injuries unit in Andover for 21 years as a clinical nurse assistant, Jane joined us in 2018.

    Her roles include:
    Phlebotomy
    Blood pressure checks
    ECG
    Well person, new patient and NHS health checks
    Pneumococcal, ‘flu and B12 vaccinations for adults
    Elder Care / WellCome café
    Dressings, wound care and leg ulcer treatments/ removal of sutures and clips
    Diabetic health checks

  • Kim Clarke

    Kim worked at Salisbury District Hospital for 5 years as a nursing Assistant on various wards, Kim joined us in 2019.

    Her roles include:
    Phlebotomy
    Blood pressure checks
    ECG
    Well Person, new patient and NHS health checks
    Pneumococcal, B12, and flu vaccinations
    Children’s nasal flu immunisations
    Dressings and wound care
    Removal of stitches and staples
    Minor surgery assistant
